INGREDIENTS
Maida / All purpose flour – 2 cups
Chilli flakes – 1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Coconut oil – 2 tablespoons
Water – 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup
For filling
Boiled potato – 4 medium
Oil – 3 tablespoons
Chopped onion – 2 big
Chilli – 4 ( finely chopped)
Curry leaves – few
Chopped Ginger – 2 tablespoons
Turmeric powder – 1/2 teaspoon
Chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
Garam masala – 1/4 teaspoon
Chicken masala – 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander leaves – 1 handful
Finely chopped red capsicum – 1/2 cup
Boiled egg – 8-9
Oil for frying
Preparation
For maida dough, add maida to a bowl, add salt, chilly flakes, oil and required water to make a soft dough, knead it well and make soft dough , then keep aside.
For filling, heat oil in a pan, then add onion, ginger, chilly and curry leaves, saute it well, then add masala powders,mix well, next add mashed potato, capsicum and coriander leaves, mix well, then turn off flame.
Take small quantity of potato mix, put a egg slice above it, then cover it with potato mix and make cutlet shape, dip this in maida water mix, then coat bread crumbs, now fry it in hot oil.
Take maida dough, flatten it into square shape, then cut it into long 5 pieces, add potato mix and boiled egg(1/2 piece), then roll it, after that fry it in hot oil.
Flatten maida dough into round shape, add small quantity of potato mix in 5-8 portions, add egg pieces above the mix, cover it with another chapathi, then cut it into round shape with a sharp end glass, then deep fry it in hot oil.
