Green gram curry

Ingredients

green gram- 1 cup

coconut- 4 tbsp

curry leaves

turmeric -2 pinch

green chilly- 3-4

garlic- 3

salt

oil

Preparation

soak green gram for 6 hrs, and cook in a pressure cooker.In a mixie jar add coconut, curry leaves , turmeric, chilly and garlic then grind into a smooth paste. Add hot water into the green gram and cook for a while , then add coconut into it, finally add coconut oil and curry leaves.

Kerala sambar

Ingredients

samabar Dal- 100 gm

turmeric powder-1/2 tsp

hing- 15 gm

shallots-3

green chilly-1

tamarind- lemon size

drum stick-1

elephant yam

raw banana

ladys finger

carrot

potato

tomato

shallots-10-12

turmeric powder-1/2 tsp

red chilly powder-1 tsp

coriander powder-1 tsp

fenugreek powder

dry red chilly

coriander leaves

Preparation

In a pressure cooker add dal, turmeric, hing, shallots, and green chilly with required water and cook for 4 whistle. Heat a clay pot add oil and vegetables and saute for 2 minutes , add turmeric, chilly powder, add hing powder, add cooked dal and water, next salt, and cook for 15 minutes, add tomatoes, tamarind juice , cook again for 2 minutes, then add coriander powder, finally add coriander leaves , turn off flame. Heat another pan , add oil, mustards, finely chopped shallots, curry leaves, dry red chilly, ladys finger and fenugreek powder. and add this to sambar.

Green peas curry

Ingredients

greenpeas-1 cup

water-1 1/2 cup

onion-1

ginger

garlic-3

green chilly-2

tomato-1

turmeric powder-1 tsp

red chilly powder-1 1/2 tsp

coriander powder-1 tsp

shreded coconut-1/4 cup

fennel seeds-1/4 tsp

mustards-1/2 tsp

garam masala-1 tsp

Preparation

Soak green peas 8 hrs, cook in a pressure cooker , grind coconut with fennel, garlic and chilly powder into fine paste and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan, add mustards, ginger, garlic, red chilly, onion, tomato, and green chilly, and salt, then saute this well, next add turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilly powder and mix well, next add coconut mix, once it boil add green peas, finally add garam masala and some curry leaves and cook for another 5 minutes.

Ingredients

Raw rice- 2 cup

Green gram- 3/4 cup

boiled rice-3/4 cup

Preparation

Soak rice and green gram for 4 hrs, then grind well with boiled rice, then add yiest, and rest 8 hrs for fermentation. Add salt and mix well, make smooth idly.

masala dosa

Preparation

Heat oil in a pan , add urad dal, channa, dal, mustard, dry red chilly, roast tis well, then add onion, then add ginger, and chilly , saute well, next add turmeric and red chilly powder, saute well, next add water and salt, then allow it to boil, add mashed potato and mix well, add curry leaves and lemon juice. Turn off flame. Make dosas with this filling.

Semiya Pudding

Ingredients

Ghee-1 tbsp

Vermicelli-150 gm

Milk-1 cup

sugar

ghee-1/2 tsp

biscuit for decoration

milk powder-2 tbsp

corn flour-2 tbsp

milk-2 cup

Preparation

Heat ghee in a pan , add vermicelli , then roast well, next add milk and sugar, cook well, again add 1 tsp of ghee and pour this to a tin.For topping, add corn flour, milk powder, milk in a pan and cook until become thick, then add sugar, pour this mix above the vermicelly, spread some biscuit above it, then refrigirate it.

Beef curry

Ingredients

beef-1 kg

red chilly powder- 1-1 1/2 tsp

Preparation

Roast all masalas until raw smell gone, then heat oil in a cooker saute onion, finely crushed ginger, garlic, green chilly, and shallots, then add roasted masalas and beef with it, add required water and salt then  cover the cooker and cook for 5-6 whistle.

Vanilla ice cream

Ingredients

Milk-1 cup

sugar-1/4 cup

vanilla essance-1/4 tsp

whipping cream-1 cup

Preparation

Boil milk with sugar, cook until it become 3/4 cup, then add vanilla essance and allow it to cool. In a mixie jar add whipping cream and blend well, then add milk mix ino it, again blend this and transfer this to a air tight container , keep overnight in freezer.
