Idli rice :½ cup
Chana Dhal/Kadala paruppu : Little bit more than ½ cup
Uzhunnu Parippu/Urud Dhal : Little bit more than ½ cup
Dry Red chillies : 7-8 numbers.
Jeera : ½ Spoon
Kurumulaku/Pepper corn : ½ spoon
Curry Leaf : A Few
Kaya podi/ Asafoetida : A pinch
Salt : To Taste
Dry Roast Each Ingredient individually till brown. Mix all together and powder it when cool down. Idli Podi is ready to be served.
