Tasty strawberry ice cream with rice flour and milk…

Everyone can try..

Ingredients

milk – 2 cup

rice flour- 4 tsp

sugar- 1 1/4 cup

cardamom powder- 1 tsp

strawberry essence- a few drops

Preparation

Mix milk and rice flour together, combine until the lumps remove completely, then transfer it to a pan, add sugar and turn on flame, stir it continously until it become thick and cooked enough. Add cardamom powder. Once the heat gone, blend it well with adding strawberry essence, then store in fridge for 2 hrs in an airtight container, after 23 hrs, blend it again, after that store it again for 8 hrs in freezer, then take it, ice cream is ready to serve.

Ingredients

cumin and cardamom powder

rice flour

hot water

coconut

jaggerry

Preparation

Melt jaggerry, then transfer it to a pan, boil it well, then add coconut, after mixing well add cumin and cardamom powder, combine well, then turn off flame. Boil water in a pan, add rice flour, then mix well, turn off flame. Once it cooled down, knead it well and make a soft dough, take small portions from it, then flatten it in your hand, add filling, then fold it, make a perfect ball, steam the balls well.

Soft Paalappam

INGREDIENTS

raw rice- 2 cup

poha- 2 cup

coconut- 1 cup

sugar + coconut water mix

salt

sugar- 1 tsp

PREPARATION

Mix sugar and coconut water together , keep overnight for raising. Soak rice for 4 hrs, then grind it with coconut, soaked poha and water, make a soft batter, then pour coconut and sugar mix, mix well, then set aside for fermentation, mext morning, add salt and sugar, then mix it again, now make soft paalappam with this batter.

Preparation

Peel off potatoes, then chop it like long fingers, dip it in cold water for 15 minutes, then take it from water and put it in boiling water for 2 minutes. Then take it from water, wipe all water with cloth, then coat it with corn flour and rice flour, then fry it well.

INGREDIENTS

raw rice – 2 cup

cooked rice- 1 cup

sugar- 1 tsp

instant yeast- 1 tsp

lukewarm water

Preparation

Soak raw rice overnight, next morning, add this to a mixie jar, then add cooked rice, sugar, yeast and lukewarm water, grind it well and make soft batter, rest this batter for 1/2 hrs. Then add salt, mix well, now its ready to make dosa, you can make crispy dosa withis.

Chop vegetables and add to a bowl, then add gram flour, turmeric and salt, then add water, mix well and make a medium thick batter, add ketchup, combine all. Dip bread in this mix and shallow fry it in ghee or butter.

Chinese potato cleaning

Chinese potato is a tasty vegetable grow under earth, but cleaning is very messy task for your hands, the stain will last for couple of days. If you think cleaning Chinese potato is a messy affair, think again, few tips explained in the video makes the task easier.

Here a few tips to clean the vegetable without staining your hand.

Add the potatoes to a pressure cooker, pour water, then cook it, turn off flame just before the first whistle come out. Then , after opening the cooker, transfer the potatoes to cold water, then you can remove the peels easily.

Second method is, soaking the potatoes for 1 -2 hrs, then you can easily remove the peels with your hands, otherwise, you can use a peeler to remove it.

•Chia seed – 1 tablespoon

•Oats – half cup

•Any fruit of your choice – ½ cup

•Almonds or pistachios – two tablespoons each

•Dates – 6

PREPARATION

Soak almonds overnight. Next morning, peel off this, then grind it with water and take the milk. Soak chia in almond milk, add oats into it, mix well, grind dates and banana, then add the paste to the mix, combine well, serve the dish with fruits and nuts.

In a bowl, add maida , salt and sugar, then mix well, add egg, milk and water, knead it well and make a sticky and soft dough. Keep this aside for 2 hrs by covering with wet cloth. After 2 hrs, knead it again and divide it to balls. Stretch the balls with a roller and make very thin layers. Apply oil above the layers, then fold it from side to side, roll it from one side to another, then apply oil again, rest this for 1 more hour. Then press it with fingers and cook it in a pan.
