This instant Wheat Dosa is made with whole wheat flour or atta. It is considered a healthy breakfast item even for diabetic patients. This dosa can be accompanied with any easy coconut chutney or with a mulaku chammanthi (redchilly & onion chutney). This crispy dosa is an easy recipe and can be made super quickly. Here I am sharing 2 simple ways in which the normal wheat dosa can be made tastier and a simple coconut chutney to accompany

Ingredients
For the Bsic Batter
Wheat Flour – 2 cups
Salt – to taste
Water – 3 cups (or as needed to make the batter)
(Mix the above ingredients and make a looser batter than the normal dosa batter, using a hand whisk or can use a mixer jar to blend the batter, so that all the lumps could be removed. Divide the batter into equal halves in two bowls.)
For Recipe 1
Pepper crushed – ¼ tsp
Asafetida Powder – ¼ tsp
(Add the above spices to the bowl 1 and mix the batter very well with the hand whisk itself. This will give an add on flavour for the batter. Keep a dosa tawa on stove and once hot, grease the tawa and pour a ladle of batter and spread to make dosa. Sprinkle sesame oil, flip the dosa and remove once both the sides are crispy enough. Serve hot with the chutney.

For Recipe 2
Pepper Crushed – ¼ tsp
Cumin or jeera powder – ¼ tsp
Coconut Oil – 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Dry Red Chilly – 2 nos
Shallots Chopped – 7 nos
Curry Leaves – 3-4 nos
Sesame oil – as needed
(Keep a pan on stove, add coconut oil and the mustards to splutter. Add the cut dry red chillies and the chopped shallots and saute well. Add the curry leaves also. Wait till the mixture cools and then pour into the bowl 2. Add the cumin and the pepper powder also to the bowl 2. Mix the batter evenly with the hand whisk again. Make dosa with this batter too similarly as above and enjoy as hot as from tawa to plate along with the coconut chutney.
For Chutney
Grated Coconut – 1 cup
Salt – to taste
Shallots – 3 nos
Green Chilly – 3 nos
Curd – 1 tsp
Coconut Oil – 1 tsp
Method of preparation
First grind the coconut in the small mixer jar and then add the rest of the ingredients and crush again to make the chutney.
