Ingredients
For the Bsic Batter
Wheat Flour – 2 cups
Salt – to taste
Water – 3 cups (or as needed to make the batter)
(Mix the above ingredients and make a looser batter than the normal dosa batter, using a hand whisk or can use a mixer jar to blend the batter, so that all the lumps could be removed. Divide the batter into equal halves in two bowls.)
For Recipe 1
Pepper crushed – ¼ tsp
Asafetida Powder – ¼ tsp
(Add the above spices to the bowl 1 and mix the batter very well with the hand whisk itself. This will give an add on flavour for the batter. Keep a dosa tawa on stove and once hot, grease the tawa and pour a ladle of batter and spread to make dosa. Sprinkle sesame oil, flip the dosa and remove once both the sides are crispy enough. Serve hot with the chutney.
