Mango ginger pickle

mango ginger-100 gm

gingelly oil-2-3 tbsp


fenugreek-1/4 tsp

mustards-1 tsp

red chilly-1-2

chilly powder-1 tbsp

hing-1/2 tsp

lemon juice-3 tbsp




Clean the mango ginger, then cut into small pieces, marinate with lemon juice and salt,rest for 20 minutes.Heat oil in a pan, crack mustards,fenugreek and red chilly, then turn off flame, and add chilly powder,hing powder and vinegar, mix well,next add marinated mango ginger, mix well and cook in low flame for 5 minutes, then turn off flame, store in air tight jar.
