Mango pickle( no vinegar)

mango( cut into cube shape)-1 1/2 kg

rock salt-200 gm


gingely oil

chilly powder-6 tbsp( 3 tbsp kashmiri chilly)

roasted fenugreek powder-3 tbsp

mustard powder-50 gm

hing powder-2 tbsp


Marinate mango with salt and keep aside for 2 hrs, then strain out from salt water, then dry in sun light for 3 hrs. Heat a pan add gingelly oil, add chilly powder, turn off gas and mix well, now add mango into it, mix it well, now add fenugreek, hing, and mustard powders, mix all together with salt water, mix well. Store in air tight container.
