Squid Roast Recipe Malayalam. Squid roast is a delicious and popular seafood dish in Kerala. It’s a flavorful preparation that goes well with rice, chapati, or bread. Here’s a simple recipe for making Squid Roast:

Ingredients:

500 grams squid (cleaned and cut into rings or small pieces)
2 medium-sized onions (sliced)
2-3 green chilies (slit)
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 sprig curry leaves
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 tablespoon red chili powder (adjust to your spice preference)
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
2 tablespoons coconut oil (or any cooking oil of your choice)
Salt to taste

Instructions:

Clean the squid: Rinse the squid under cold running water and remove the transparent backbone. Cut the squid into rings or small pieces as per your preference. Pat them dry with a paper towel.

Marinate the squid: In a bowl, mix the squid pieces with half of the turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, ginger-garlic paste, and a little salt. Let it marinate for about 15-20 minutes.

Heat oil in a pan or kadai over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the sliced onions, green chilies, and curry leaves. Sauté until the onions turn golden brown.

Add the marinated squid to the pan. Stir well and cook on medium-high heat for about 5-7 minutes until the squid starts to turn opaque.

Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let the squid cook for another 5-7 minutes until it becomes tender. Squid cooks quickly, so be careful not to overcook it, as it can turn rubbery.

Add the remaining turmeric powder, black pepper powder, and garam masala. Adjust the salt and spice levels to your taste and mix well.

Continue to cook uncovered for a few more minutes until the squid is well coated with the spices and the roast gets a slightly dry texture.

Drizzle some more coconut oil on top before turning off the heat. This enhances the flavor of the roast.

Your delicious Squid Roast is ready to be served! It pairs perfectly with steamed rice, appam, chapati, or bread. Enjoy your meal!

Fenugreek – 1/4 cup
Cumin – 1/4 cup
Ayamodaka – 1/4 cup

Method of preparation:

∙ Fry medicines and rice without adding oil.

• Grate the coconut by adding a tablespoon of ghee. This should also be grind when hot.

• Pour half a cup of water in the Palm Jaggery, melt it and keep it warm.

∙ When the roasted mix after gone hot, grind it and transfer it to a bowl.

• Add cardamom powder, chuku powder and beaten coconut to the powdered coconut and mix well.

• Then add karupeti pani and mix and make balls. Store in an airtight container.

Curd – ½ cup

Garlic – ¼cup

Turmeric – ¼ teaspoon

Ginger – 1 piece

Water – 1glass

Green chilli – 3nos

Curry leaves

Coconut crush – ½cup

Cumin Red chilli – 2nos

Mustard Salt

coconut oil

Fenugreek – ¼ teaspoon

Mix all these and add half of curd to it and grind it

Heat all this in a pan and pour it

Pour the remaining curd into it

Now mix well

We can use it unripe or unripe if we want

Now pour some coconut oil in another pan and let’s boil it. After the coconut oil heats up, add mustard and crack it. Add two slices of chillies and add some curry leaves. Delicious fenugreek porridge to boost body strength and protect health. Drink this fenugreek porridge for 7 days in the month of Karkidaka. Let’s see how fenugreek porridge is prepared with very few ingredients to help us reduce blood pressure and prevent diseases.

Ingredients required

Fenugreek – 1/4 cup
Yogurt rice – 1 cup
First milk – 1/2 cup (from one cup of grated coconut)
Second milk – 3/4 cup
Cumin – 1 tsp
Chopped small onion – 1/4 cup
Ghee – 1 tablespoon

How to prepare

After washing a quarter cup of fenugreek seeds well, soak them in water for at least seven hours, then pour them in a cooker with water and cook until it whistles.

• After washing the mandarin rice well, add it to the steamed cooker along with the boiled fenugreek seeds. Add three cups of water and cook till two whistles are heard.

•From one cup of coconut milk, 1/2 cup of first milk and 3/4 cup of second milk can be taken. After the whistle of the cooker, pour the second milk and boil everything together. Add a teaspoon of crushed cumin seeds and required salt to it and turn off the flame when it boils.

•Then pour the first milk. In another pan, pour a tablespoon of ghee and add a quarter cup of chopped small onion and fry until it turns brown in color.

Maida – 1 cup

Wheat powder – 1 cup

Enough water for kneading – 100 ml

Ingredients required to prepare Samosa Filling:

Potatoes – 3 small boiled

Onion – 1

Ginger garlic – chopped into powder

Green chillies – depending on the spiciness

Green peas – soaked and boiled

Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp

Chili powder – 1 tsp

Coriander powder – 3/4 tsp

Garam masala – 1/2 tsp

Method of preparation:

Mix all the powders needed for the sheet and heat the oil and mix it with water. Cover it with a wet cloth and keep it aside for 30 minutes.

Now let’s prepare the masala:

Saute onions, green chillies and ginger in oil. Add the powder and make it smell green. Add boiled yam and stir.

After 30 minutes spread the dough and make a rectangle. Shape it with a knife. After that make it into a samosa shape and fry it in oil.

Maida – 2 cup

Egg – 2 pcs

Sugar – 2 tbsp

Preparation: 
wash  the beef and add turmeric, black pepper powder, salt, chili powder and garam masala and cook.

Then put in a blender and puree. Heat coconut oil in a pan and sauté minced ginger and garlic until fragrant. When boiling, add onions and green peppers and sauté. Add remaining turmeric powder, chili powder, black pepper powder, garam masala, salt, coriander leaves and curry leaves and stir-fry well. Add cooked beef and mix.

Add flour, salt and a little water and knead like chapati dough. Make small balls and spread them out to the size of a puri ball.

Get a Poori and put the beef masala in the middle. Put another puri on top and fold the aruk thoroughly, then put in hot oil and fry.

Mix 2 eggs and powdered sugar in a bowl. Pour 1 teaspoon of ghee or oil into a non-stick pan. Dip each piece of fried meat in the egg and then fry in the pan.

Preparation

Cook chicken with salt and turmeric, then crush it well. Heat oil in a pan, add onion, ginger and garlic, saute it well, then add turmeric and salt, mix all, add other masala powders, once the raw smell gone add crushed chicken mix it well, add coriander leaves, then turn off flame.

Prepare a loose batter with maida , egg, salt and water, then make thin dosas with it. Take dosas, add filling then fold it like chicken roll, dip the rolls in beaten egg, coat it with bread crumbs, then fry it in hot oil.
