•Nurukku gothambu (Broken wheat) – 1 cup

•Jaggery – 350 grams

•Water – 3/4 cup

•Ghee – 1 tablespoon

•Chopped Coconut – 1/2 cup

•Cashew nuts – handful

•Raisins – handful

•thin coconut milk (second milk ) – 5 cups

•Salt – 1/2 teaspoon

•Cumin seed powder – 1/2 teaspoon

•Cardamom powder – 1 teaspoon

•Dried ginger powder – 1 teaspoon

•Thick coconut milk – 1 cup

Preparation

Melt jaggerry with water, strain dust,then keep aside. Cook wheat in a pressure cooker with water. Heat ghee in a pan, roast cashew, coconut and raisins and keep this aside. Add cooked wheat, jaggerry and second extract of coconut to the same pan, boil it well, once it become thick add salt, cumin powder and cardamom powder, then mix it again, now add thick coconut milk, heat it well and turn off flame, finally add roasted cashew,kismis and coconut.
