Ulli Curd Tasty Recipe with Malayalam Video

  • Small onion – 1 cup
  • Curd – 1/2 cup
  • Chili powder – 3/4 tablespoon
  • Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt – as needed
  • Coconut oil – 3 tablespoons
  • fenal seeds – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cumin – 1/4 tsp
  • Mustard – 1/2 tsp
  • Garlic – 6 nos
  • Onion – 1 no
  • Curry leaves – as needed
  • Crushed ginger – 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp

First, peel a cup of small onion. Then put the small onion in a pan. Add half a cup of curd in a mixer. Yogurt that is not too sour is best. Then add 3/4 tablespoon of chili powder, half a teaspoon of Garam masala and salt to taste and mix them well. Then turn on the stove and cook it in a low flame for about five minutes. Then take a pan and pour three tablespoons of coconut oil into it and when it is hot, add quarter teaspoon of cumin seeds, quarter teaspoon of fenal seeds and half a teaspoon of mustard seeds.

When the mustard is spluttering, add six garlic cloves and enough curry leaves. Next, add an onion cut into small pieces and saute until it turns a nice brown color. Now add half a teaspoon of crushed ginger and quarter teaspoon of turmeric powder to it. Then add the small onion which has been cooked in curd and mix everything well. Then cover and cook on low flame for five minutes. After mixing everything together, switch off the stove. Delicious small onions in curd are ready. No more curry to eat with rice.
