3. Tumerind – 50 gm

4.Ginger – a small piece

5. Pepper – 1 tbs

6. Chilli powder – 8 tbs

7. Coriander powder- 1 1/2tbs

8. Asafoetida – 1 Tsp

9. Fenugreek – 1/2 Tbs

10. urad dal – 10 tbs

11. masoor dal – 10 tbs

Preparation

Crush coconut in mixie jar, then transfer it to a pan, now turn on flame, mix it well, add garlic and curry leaves, continue mixing, next add tamarind,ginger and pepper, roast it until it turns crispy and golden brown,now add chilly powder, mix it well next add coriander powder, mix again, next add hing powder and fenugreek, combine it well, then turn off flame. Heat another pan, dry roast urad dal and dal separately, then grind it into fine powder.Now crush coconut by adding this powder and salt, now tasty chammanthippodi is ready.
