Banana ,semolina evening snack

Ingredients

cashew nut-2 tbsp

ghee

banana-1

semolina-1 cup

coconut-1 cup

water-2 1/2 cup

salt-1/4 tsp

cherries-1 tbsp

cardamom-1/2 tsp

Preparation

Melt ghee in a pan, roast, cashews, banana and coconut separately. Roast semolina in another pan, then cook with water and make thick consistency, finally mix all together and set in a tray, allow it to cool, then cut it.

Pork Roast

Ingredients

Pork : 1k.g

Onion : 3medium size

Small Onion: 12 no.s

Garlic : 1full

Ginger : 1 big size

Curry Leaves: 2big

Green Chilly: 4

Chilly powder: 1.5 tsp

Pepper Powder: 3.5 tsp

Coriander Powder: 4tsp

Turmeric Powder: 1 tsp

Garam Masala : 1 tsp

Coconut oil

Salt

Preparation

Marinate pork meat with salt,turmeric and coconut oil, then rest for 1/2 hrs.After 1/2 hrs, wash off the meat. Then add turmeric,pepper,coriander powder,curry leaves,crushed ginger,shallots and chilly, and oil, mix well. Cook in a non stick pan, add salt . Once it cooked well, separate it from ghee.Heat another pan, add oil, saute ginger and garlic, next add onion, now add ghee, chilly,curry leaves and salt, mix all well, then cook it.Next add masalas, mix well, cook until it become dry, now add cooked meat, mix well, cook until it become dry.

Sadya special kurukk kaalan

Ingredients

yam-300-400 gm

raw banana-1

coconut-2 handful

cumin-1/4 tbsp

pepper powder-1/4 tsp

curd-1-2 cup

green chilly-2

dry red chilly-2-3

mustards-1 tsp

fenugreek-1/2 tsp

curry leaves

coconut oil-1 tsp

ghee-1 tsp

Preparation

In a mixie jar add coconut,cumin,pepper and chilly, grind it with required water. Cook yam and banana in a pressure cooker, then transfer to a clay pot, add coconut paste and mix well, then add other masalas and salt, boil it well, once it become thick, add curd, turn off flame after mixing well. Heat oil with ghee, pop mustards,fenugreek,dry red chilly and curry leaves,then add to curry.

Soft urad dal dosa

Ingredients

raw rice-3 cup

black gram -3/4 cup

cooked rice-3/4 cup

fenugreek -1 tbsp

salt water

Preparation

Soak rice with fenugreek and urad dal separately.Soak about 4-5 hrs. Grind it with cooked rice, keep overnight for fermentation. Add required salt, after mixing well, cook soft dosa.

Preparation

Cook chana with tomato onion, turmeric , chilly powder , salt and water in a pressure cooker.Grind coconut with chilly,curry leaves,coriander leaves, garlic and pepper powder, then add to cooked chana, mix well then boil it. Heat oil in a pan, pop mustards,curry leaves and dry red chilly , add to curry.

Arimurukk

Ingredients

* Roasted chana dal – 1/4 cup

* Rice powder – 1 cup

* Salt – 1/2 tsp

* Asafoetida – a pinch

* Chilli powder- 1 tsp

* Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp

* Sesame seeds – 1 Tbsp

* Oil – 1 1/2 tsp

Preparation

Dry grind chana dal and strain it, add another ingredients one bye one, then mix with your hand, add hot water, knuead it well and make soft dough. Take idiyappam presser and grease it well and fill with dough, then press it to a plate, then fry it in hot oil.

Pineapple lemon juice

• Pineapple – 80 grams

• Lemon — 2 no’s

• Ginger – a small piece

• Cold water – 2 glasses

• Ice cubes

Preparation

For mint lemon juice , blend all ingredients in a mixie jar, serve with ice cubes.

For pineapple lemon drink, blend all in a mixie jar, then strain the juice, serve with ice cubes.

Peanut candy

Ingredients

peanut-500 gm

jaggerry-400 gm

sunflower oil-2 tbsp

Preparation

Roast peanut in a pan until change color, then allow it to cool, remove peels and split it. Melt jaggerry with 2 tbsp of water, once it become thick add oil and splitted peanut into it mix well, then pour it to a cutting board, roll it into shape, put square cuts, after cooling well, use it.

Grilled chicken in Oven

Ingredients

chilly powder(kashmiri)-4 tbsp

ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp

lemon juice-4 tbsp

Preparation

Take a plate, add all masalas, salt,sugar and butter, add lime juice make a thick paste, marinate chicken with this masala, keep in fridge for 3 hrs, then grill the chicken in microwave oven.
