Tomato Masala Curry

Ingredients

oil-3 tbsp

mustard-1 tsp

garlic-6-7

dry chilly and curry leaves

tomato-4

green chilly-3

onion-2

chilly powder-1 tsp

kashmiri chilly powder-1 tsp

cumin powder-1/2 tsp

coriander powder-1/2 tsp

turmeric-1/2 tsp

4 tomato+ginger+6 garlic paste

salt

water

Preparation

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, let it pop, then add garlic, and green chilly, fry it well, next add dry chilly and curry leaves, after roasting it well add onion, saute until it become golden brown, now add tomato, once it become soft add masala powders, mix until the raw smell gone, now add tomato paste, after mixing it well add salt and water, boil it well, then turn off flame.

Easy Snack

Ingredients

semolina-1/4 cup

milk-1/4 cup

wheat flour-2 tbsp

jaggerry-2

salt a pinch

oil

Preparation

Soak semolina in milk, then add to a mixie jar, add jaggerry juice, wheat flour and salt, blend it well, then pour it to a bowl. Heat oil in a pan, pour the batter with a spoon, fry well.

Banana Breakfast

Ingredients

Preparation

Melt jaggerry in a pan, then keep aside. Cook banana with water, then pour jaggerry juice, masala powders and coconut, combine well, once it become thick, turn off flame. Serve it with papad.

Plum Cake

Ingredients

raisins

orange peel

caramalised ginger

water-1 cup

sugar-3/4 cup

sunflower oil-1/2 cup

vanilla essance-1/2 tsp

maida-2 cup

badam sliced

Preparation

Caramalise 1/2 cup sugar in a pan, then pour water into it, boil it until it melts completely, then add dry fruits , mix well, once the dry fruits absorb the water completely turn off flame. Grind sugar with whole spices, then sieve it to a bowl, add oil and egg to the bowl, mix well, add vanilla essence, then add maida,baking powder, and baking soda to a strainer, sieve it to the bowl, combine well, add dry fruit mix, salt and sliced badam, combine all, then transfer it to a cake mould, dont forget to put a butter paper in the bottom of the mould, garnish with some dry fruits, then bake it for 45-60 minutes.

Green grapes Pickle

Ingredients

green grapes – 500 gram (seedless)

coconut oil – 1/4 cup

mustard seeds – 1 tsp

fenugreek seeds – 1/2 tsp

garlic – 1 cup

ginger – 3 tbsp

green chillies – 10-12

curry leaves

vinegar – 1/4 cup

salt

sugar

Preparation

Heat oil in a pan, add grapes after washing well, saute it for a minute, then keep this aside. Add mustard to the oil, let it pop well, then add garlic, saute until the raw smell gone, now add crushed ginger, mix well, next add green chilly, combine well, add curry leaves and salt, mix all together, now add grapes, cover it after mixing well, cook it for 2 minutes, then add sugar and vinegar, mix all well, once vinegar absorbs in grapes turn off flame.

Sprouted green gram recipe

Ingredients

whole wheat-1/2 glass

sprouted green gram-2-3 handful

turmeric

salt

coconut

Preparation

Soak wheat for 6-8 hrs, then add it to a pressure cooker, then add sprouted green gram, salt, turmeric and water, then cook it for 6 whistle. Once the pressure is gone, open the lid, add coconut and boil it until it become thick.

Neyyappam

Ingredients

Raw Rice – 2 cup

All Purpose Flour – 2 tbsp

Jaggery – 300 gm

Ghee – 1 tbsp

Sesame Seeds – 2 tbsp

Cardamom – 10

Salt – 1 pinch

Water – 3/4 cup(180 ml)

Coconut Oil – for frying

Preparation

Soak rice for 4 hrs. strain rice from water and rest it for 1/2 hrs, then add to mixie jar, add jaggerry juice and maida, then grind it into slightly coarse batter, transfer the batter to a bowl, add sesame seeds, mix it well, then rest the batter for 12-14 hrs. Add jaggerry juice if required, add cardamom and ghee, then mix well. Heat oil in a pan, lower the flame, then pour batter with a laddle, wait until it raise, then flip another side, fry well.

Preparation

Chop banana into small pieces. Heat ghee in a pan, add cashew and kismis, after roasting it well, keep aside, add banana, saute it well, add sugar, once it welts, keep aside. Boil milk in a pan, add sugar and corn flour+milk powder+milk mix, stir it well and make a thick consistency, add banana, cashew kismis and cardamom powder, mix well, turn off flame. Then Serve it.

Preparation

Marinate chicken with salt, turmeric and chilly powder and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin and washed rice, after roasting it well, add the rice to boiling water, add salt, then cook it well, after that drain the rice and keep aside.Heat oil in a pan, add chicken , then fry it , after that add oil and ghee in the same pan, add onion, saute it well, then add ginger , garlic and chilly paste, mix well, add salt, once it become mushy add tomato, combine all until it become soft, now add fried chicken, mix it well with masala, finally add coriander leaves and garam masala, mix well and turn off flame, add cooked rice above the masala, add carrot, coriander and mint leaves, fried onion and cashew kismis, cover the pot, put a weight and , dum it for 1 hour.
