Home made slice cheese

Ingredients

milk-1/2 ltr+1 cup

vinegar/lime juice

gelatine-10 gm

turmeric-2 pinch

salt-1/4 tsp

Preparation

Take milk in a pan, and just heat it (don’t over heat), then turn off stove and add vinegar to the milk, mix until the paneer separate from water, strain it to a cotton towel, squeeze out excess water from the paneer, then transfer it to a mixie jar, add a little water and grind it into fine paste, transfer the paste to a pan. Take gelatin, soak it in milk, then add to the pan, add more milk, salt and turmeric to the pan, then boil it, stir it well, once it boil well turn off flame and pour it in a plain surface, layer it with a spatula, then allow it to set well, finally cut it in square shape.
