Moong Dal Curry

Ingredients

green gram-1 cup

water-2 cup

shallots-10

dry red chilly-3

water-3 cup

salt

coconut oil-1 1/2 tbsp

mustard

curry leaves

chilly powder-1 tsp

turmeric-1 tsp

Preparation

Soak green gram overnight, then cook it with water , and salt in a pressure cooker. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, let it pop, then add shallots, dry chilly and curry leaves, saute it well, then add cooked masala powders, mix all well, add cooked dal into it, add more water and salt if required, boil it until it become desired consistency, then turn off flame.
