Ingredients

fish -1/2kg
oil
ginger garlic paste
tomato-3
salt
turmeric-1/4 tsp
chilly powder-1 1/2 tbsp
coriander powder-1 tbsp
garam masala-1/2 tsp
fennel powder-1/2 tsp
fennel powder-1/4 tsp
curry leaves
green chilly-3-4
onion-2
coriander leaves
Preparation
Marinate fish with salt,turmeric and chilly powder, keep aside for 1/2 hrs. After that, heat oil in a pan, add fish pieces then fry it well, transfer fish to a plate and keep aside. Then add ginger garlic paste to the pan, saute until the raw smell gone , then add tomato, mix well, then cook until it become soft and mushy, now add masalas and salt, mix well and cook it again for another 3 minutes, then transfer it to a blender, and blend it well. Heat oil in a pan, add fenugreek seeds, then add curry leaves and green chilly, saute it well, then add onion, add salt and saute it for 2-3 minutes, then add masala paste and required water, allow it to boil, now add fish, combine well, boil until the gravy become thick, finally add coriander leaves.
