Gooseberry Pickle


gooseberry-400 gm

gingelly oil


mustards-1/2 tsp

garlic-1/4 cup

curry leaves

chilly powder-3 tbsp

fenugreek powder-1/4 tsp

hing-3/4 tsp

mustards powder-1/4 tsp

vinegar-3 tbsp

hot water


Wash gooseberries, then wipe out water with a towel. Heat oil in a pan, add gooseberries, saute it well , then keep aside. Heat more oil in the pan, add mustards, pop it well, next add garlic and curry leaves, roast it well, then turn off flame, add all masalas, after mixing it add vinegar and hot water, then add gooseberries, boil it for 2 minutes, then turn off flame.
