Varutharacha chicken curry

Ingredients

Chicken – 1/2 k

Coconut oil – 1+1/2tbsp

Onion – 1

Tomato – 1

Garlic – 4 n

Ginger – 1tbsp

Green chilli – 3

Turmeric powder – 1/2tspp

Coriander powder – 2tbsp

Chilli powder – 1tbsp

Curry leaves

Salt

Coconut – 1/2cup

For roasting the coconut:-

Roasted coconut – 1/4cup

Shallots – 2

Cardamom – 3

Cloves – 3

Cinnamon – 3 small piece

Fennel seeds – 1/4tspn

Curry leaves

Coconut oil

For seasoning –

Coconut oil

Shallots

Chilli powder – 2pinch

Turmeric powder -1 pinch

Preparation

Heat a claypot, add coconut oil, then add onion, chilly, ginger, garlic and curry leaves, saute it well, next add tomato, mix well, next add masalas, mix all well, next add chicken and potato, mix well, and cook it by add water. Heat a pan, add oil, then add coconut , spices, shallots and curry leaves, roast it well, then grind it into fine paste, add to curry. For seasoning, heat coconut oil, then add chopped shallots, roast it well and pour it to the curry.
