1.RAW RICE===4 CUP

2.(YEAST=1/2 TSP) + (WATER=1TBSP) + (SUGAR=1 TSP)

3.GREATED COCONUT===2 CUP

4.SUGAR===1/2 OR 3/4 CUP

5.COOKED RICE===2 TBSP

6.SALT===AS NEEDED

7.WATER===3 1/2 CUP OR 4 CUP

Preparation

Soak raw rice for 1 hour. Mix yiest, sugar and lukewarm water, and keep aside. Wash rice and drain out from water, add coconut , sugar, cooked rice and salt, mix all well, then grind it into fine batter, add yiest mix into it, mix well, rest batter for 4-5 hrs. Now you can make soft paalappam.
