Ingredients
Green Gram (Cherupayar)-1cup
Salt-
Water-
Coconut-1/2 cup
Green chilli-1
Cumin seeds-1/4 tsp
Garlic-1
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Coconut oil-
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Dry red chilli-3
Onion-3 tbs OR Shallots
Curry leaves-1 sprig
Preparation
Soak green gram for 1/2 hrs, then cook in a presuure cooker with water and salt. Grind coconut with,turmeric,garlic,cumin and shallots. Heat oil in a pan, crack mustards, add red chilly, curry leaves and onion saute it well, then add coconut mix, roast it well, now add cooked green gram, mix well, cook in low flame for 2 inutes more.
