Here is a very easy to make plum cake recipe for Christmas , recipe for 1/2 kg cake.
To prepare the cake, first you can caramalize the sugar, for this add 50 grams of sugar to a pan.
When the sugar dissolves and caramelizes well, pour 50 grams of water into it and mix well. Then keep this aside. Next, add 110 grams of flour, one teaspoon of baking powder, two pinches of baking soda and one pinch of salt to a bowl and mix well. Add raisins and cashew nuts to it. After mixing keep it aside In another bowl add 75 g butter Beat it well with a beater Add 50 g caramelizer sugar Add 50 g brown sugar, Give it a good beat again, add two eggs, a teaspoon of vanilla essence, a teaspoon of masala powder and a quarter teaspoon of dry ginger powder and beat again. Add the mixed dry ingredients to this and mix well. Transfer this cake batter to a cake tin and bake well. Soak the cake in rum before using.
