Peel four kilos of raw banana, put it in water mixed with turmeric powder and salt for some time and then wash it, then cut it into pieces like sharkkara upperi. Put it in hot oil and fry it well and take it out. Grind the ginger, roasted rice and cumin and cardamom powder together and keep it aside. Make one and a half kg jaggery to juice. After straining it into a pan, boil it till it turns into one string consistency, then add the fried raw banana and coat it well with jaggery. Add powdered masala powder to this and after mixing well, keep aside to heat.
