Preparation

Boil water with salt, add rice flour, stir well, then knead it well, add boiled& mashed potato, mix well make a soft dough, add chopped vegetables and salt, knead well, and make finger shape and fry in hot oil.

Easy evening sweet snack

Ingredients

Wheat flour-1/2 cup

rava-1/2 cup

maida-1/4 cup

sugar-1/2 cup

hot water

sesame seeds-2 tbsp

Preparation

In a bowl add, dry ingredients, mix with hot water, and rest for 30 minutes, add sesame seeds and baking soda, and a little water, mix well and make a thick batter. Heat oil in a pan, pour the batter, fry well, keep the flame low.

Thrissur style Fish curry

Ingredients

fish-1 kg

pot tamarind-3 pieces

garlic-1 pot

ginger

turmeric-1/4 tsp

kashmiri chilly powder-3 1/2 tbsp

fenugreek powder-1/4 tsp

coconut oil

mustards-1/2 tsp

fenugreek 1/4 tsp

hing-1/4 tsp

curry leaves

Preparation

Mix chilly powder, fenugreek and turmeric with tamarind soaked water and make a thick paste.Heat a pan, add oil, pop mustards and fenugreek, add ginger,garlic,and chilly saute it well, add masala paste and salt, add water and boil it well. Take another pot, add chilly paste , then fish and curry leaves, set 3 layers., boil it well.

Preparation

Marinate fish with salt , turmeric, pepper powder and curry leaves, then rest it for 1 hr. Fry fish and keep aside. In the same pan saute onion,shallots, ginger&garlic. curry leaves and required salt. After sauting well add masalas, mix well, next add second coconut milk, boil it well, add vinegar , mix well, now add fried fish, after cooked add tomato, finally add coconut thick milk.

Easy Breakfast

Ingredients

coconut-1/2 cup

coconut water

Preparation

soak rice for 3 hrs, then grind with other all ingredients, then rest 8 hrs for fermentation, add sugar and salt, mix well, add water if required. Heat a unniyappam pot, spread oil, then pour batter in each hole, cook  both sides.

Preparation

In a bowl, add banana , mash it well, then add other ingredients one bye one, mix well and make a loose dough.Take a banana leaf, put the dough, then fold it from both sides and tie it, now steam cook it well.

Clam meat roast

INGREDIENTS –

Clam Meat Cleaned – 1/2 Kg
(Pressure cook it with a pinch of salt, Turmeric powder, Garam masala, Pepper powder, 2 Cloves of garlic, 1 Green Chilly ,2-3 curry leaves and some water for 2-3 whistles. Drain the excess water and keep aside)

Other Ingredients-

Savola – 1/2 of one medium size

Small Onion – 5-6

Green chilly – 2

Curry leaves

Garlic – 8 cloves – Ginger – A medium size piece – Both crushed.

Whole spices – Pepper Cons (1/2 Tsp), Cardamom (2), Cinnamon – (1 small piece),

Cloves (2)- Crush all together and keep aside.

Spice Powders –

Pepper Powder – 1 Tbsp

Garam Masal – 1/2 Tsp

Red Chilly Powder – 1/2 Tbsp

Turmeric – A pinch

Crushed dry chilli powder – 1/2 Tsp

Meat Masala – 1/2 Tsp

Coconut Oil – 2 Tbsp

Grated Coconut/ Coconut Pieces – 1/4 Cup

Preparation

Cook clam meat with turmeric, salt,garam masala, pepper powder,curry leaves,garlic and chilly for 2-3 whistle. Heat a pan, add oil, heat it, then pop mustards, then add dry red chilly and curry leaves, mix well,next add crushed spices and crushed ginger and garlic, after mixing well add shallots onion and chilly, saute it well, next add coconut, cook it for 2 minutes, next add masalas, afetr mixing well add cooked oyster, cook well.

Mix cooked rice and wheat flour, add salt, then blend it in a mixie jar, boil water in a put maker, fill the hole with flour, steam it well.

Heat oil in a pan, saute onion, ginger, chilly,tomato and masalas, add to a cooker, add channa,potato,carrot and salt, add water, mix well, then cook it.
