Preparation

Boil water in a pan, add coconut, cumin, shallots and salt, then add rice flour and semolina, mix well, turn off flame, once the heat is gone, knead it with your hand and make a soft dough, make slightly thin round shaped bites, then fry it in hot oil.

Carrot pudding

Ingredients

carrot-3

milk-1 ltr

sugar-1 cup

china grass-10 gm

nuts

milkmaid-1/2 cup

coconut milk-1 cup

Preparation

Cook carrot in a steamer, then grind it with nuts,milkmaid and coconut milk. Boil milk with sugar and china grass, then add carrot mix, cook until it become thick, then transfer it to a mould, then allow it to cool in fridge for 2 hrs.

Mulak chammanthi

Ingredients

Dried red chilli-10 nos

Shallots-1 cup

Tamarind-1/2 inch size

Curry leaves

Salt

Coconut oil

Preparation

Heat coconut oil in a pan, add dry red chilly, fry it well, next add shallots, saute it well, add tamarind and curry leaves into it, mix all well, then grind these ingredients into coarse paste with adding salt, finally add some coconut oil.

Soft dosa

urad dal-1/2 glass

fenugreek-1/4 tsp

cooked rice-1 laddle

Preparation

Soak rice,urad dal and fenugreek for 4 hrs.Then grind it with cooked rice and water, mix it with your hand, ten ferment for 8 hrs. Now add salt, then make soft dosa.

Easy Banana Cake

Ingredients

Eggs-3

sugar-1/2 cup

oil-1/2 cup

vanilla essance-1/2 tsp

maida-1 cup

baking soda-1/2 tsp

Preparation

Add eggs to a mixie jar, add sugar and blend it well, next add oil and vanilla essance, blend it again, then pour it to a bowl, add maida, baking soda and chopped banana, fold it well. Take a sauce pan, spread some ghee, pour the batter, after tapping well cook it in low flame.

Manthal fish recipe

Marinate fish with salt,turmeric and chilly powder, then fry it in hot oil, after frying remove thorns. Heat oil in a pan, add mustards, then add ginger,garlic and shallots, saute until the color become golden brown, next add onion and salt, saute again, next add masalas, once the raw smell gone add fish, mix it well, add lemon juice and coriander leaves.

Preparation

For batter, add maida to a bowl, add turmeric and salt,add water and mix it with a whisk, add egg, whisk it well. For filling, heat ghee in a bowl, add cashews and kismis, roast it well, add coconut, and sugar, mix all well,now add cardamom powder, turn off flame. Heat a tawa, pour maida batter, make thin dosas, finally add filling to cooked dosas.
