Lemon 15 Nos

Sugar 3 1/2 cup

Kashmiri Chilli Powder 1 Tb Sp

Salt 1/4 Tsp

Asafoetida 1/4Tsp

Preparation

First, boil a little water in a pan on the stove. When it boils well, you can add whole lemon to it. After it boils for two minutes, The lemon can be removed from the water by cutting it into small pieces and for this add it to a mixing jar and crush it a little.

In another pan add crushed lemon juice, a little lemon juice and sugar and mix it and boil it well.Add kashmiri chili powder and berry powder to it and boil well until it becomes a thread of heat, then switch off the pan and keep it in a bottle after heat is gone.

How to Store lemon in long term

Lemons contain a high amount of vitamin C, soluble fiber, and plant compounds that give them a number of health benefits. Lemons may aid weight loss and reduce your risk of heart disease, anemia, kidney stones, digestive issues, and cancer.

Store lemon in salted water for long term use.

First, wash the lemon well and wipe off all the water with a cloth. Boil some water in a bowl and add the lemon. After 10-15 minutes, remove the lemon and keep it aside.

Now the skin of the lemon will be soft.Again take water in the pan and add salt and boil it well and keep it warm.

Cut all the lemons in half and take some chopped green chillies. Put it in a glass bottle and then pour hot water into it. Don’t forget to stir the lemon every day with a spoon. If stored in this way, the lemon will stay fresh for a long time.

Traditional snack Neyyappam Recipe

Neyyappam is a sweet rice-based traditional snack item of Kerala.As its name implies it is a pancake fried in Ghee but can also make in oil.

Ingredients

White rice 2cup

Jaggery-5

All purpose flour 2 tablespoons

Baking soda

Cardamom powder

Black cumin

Salt to taste

Preparation

Soak rice for 4 hrs, after that drain water completely. Melt jaggerry with water, then set aside. Grind rice into slightly coarse powder, transfer this to a bowl, pour jaggerry juice with hot, mix well , then add salt, after mixing it again keep this in fridge for 6 hrs.

After 6 hrs, take out from fridge then add cardamom powder, black cumin seeds, maida, and baking soda, mix well.

Heat oil for frying, then use a small laddle to pour batter, fry it well.

Add ginger and garlic to the hot pan, saute it well, then add onion, saute it until it become soft, add salt and other masala powders, combine all , now pour coconut milk, let it boil well, next add ladies finger, boil it again, finally add thick coconut milk, then turn off flame. Season curry with shallots, dry chilly and curry leaves.

Place the mold in it. When it is hot, dip the mold three-quarters of the way in the flour and then place it in the oil.When it comes out of the mold well fried, turn it over and fry it again.
