Black Halwa

Ingredients

Rice Flour – 1 cups ( 150 g- approx. )

Jaggery – 500 g ( minimum – 300 g. )

Coconut milk – 7 Cup ( 1-1/2 Coconut )

Cow Butter – 8 Tbs

Cashew nuts – 1 Cup

Cardamom powder – 2 Tsp

Ginger powder – 1/2 Tsp

Cumin Powder – 1 pinch

Preparation

Melt jaggerry with water.Once it melts completely drain it to another bowl.Add coconut milk in a pan, add rice flour and mix well, then pour jaggerry juice,combine it well, then turn on flame, start stirring, add ghee after heat it well,once it become thick add cardamom, ginger and cumin powder, mix again and continue stirring, add more ghee, mix it again, continue this until the halwa become black and non sticky, now transfer this mix to a plate, set it with a spatula, add some cashews, then keep aside for 12-20 hrs, then cut it in desired shape.
