tomato-1 1/2
pot tamarind
turmeric
chilly powder
curry leaves
fenugreek
mustards
green chilly
garlic
shallots
ginger
fish-1 1/4 kg
fenugreek powder-1/4 tsp
Preparation
Heat oil in a pan, add garlic, saute it well, next add shallots chopped, saute again, next add masalas, mix well, add tomato, saute it well, then gring these masala. Heat a claypot, splutter mustards and fenugreenk, next green chilly, grinded masala, saute it in oil, add salt, next add tamarind, add required water, and some curry leaves, once the curry starts boiling, add fish, cook for another few minutes. Finally add some curry leaves, cook for 3 minutes more. Finally add fenugreek powder.
