Sambar is a traditonal curry in kerala, especially served in sadya. In this festival season, we are showing a perfect sambar recipe

Ingredients
Toor Dal-1 cup
Pumpkin-1/2 cup
Carrot-1/2 cup
Cucumber-1/2 cup
Mulanga-1/2 cup
Brinjal-1/2 cup
Cluster Beans-1/4 cup
Drumstick-1/2 cup
Shallots-1/2 cup
Tomato-1/2 cup
Green Chilli
Required Water
Tamarind Juice
Salt as needed
Coconut Oil
Mustard Seeds
Cumin Powder1/2 tsp
Asafoetida-1/2 tsp
Pepper powder -1/2 tsp
Chilli powder -1 1/2 tbsp
Coriander powder -1 1/4 tbsp
Red Chilli-3
Curry Leaves
Preparation
Wash dal and vegetables, then add to a pressure cooker, add salt, turmeric and required water, then close the lid and cook it for 1 whistle. Once the pressure gone add tamarind juice, salt, and masala powders, boil it for 5 minutes, then turn off flame. Finally, season the curry with mustard, curry leaves and dry chilly.
