Chicken Stew

Ingredients

Chicken. : 1/2 kg

Coconut milk. : Thick 1st milk – 1cup
: 2nd milk- 2cup

Cardamom. : 5,6

Cloves. : 5

Cinnamon. : 1medium size

Black pepper : 1/2 tsp

Curry leaves. : 2 strings

Garam masala: 1/2 tsp

Pepper powder: 3/4 tsp

Onion. : 1 small

Ginger. : small size

Garlic. : 1 tsp

Cornflour. : 2tsp

Salt

Coconut oil

Preparation

Heat coconut oil in a pan, add whole spices, roast it well, then add garlic and ginger chopped, saute it well, next add green chilly and onion, add salt, mix all, then saute until it become transparent, next add chicken pieces, cook it well for 5 minute, then add curry leaves and second coconut milk, then add carrot and potato, add salt, mix well, cook it for 15 minutes in medium flame.Next add masala powders, boil it again, now pour thick coconut milk, let it heat , then turn off flame.Roast cashew and kismis and add to curry, then roast onion , cinnamon, cardamom and curry leaves, add to the curry, mix well.
