Home made slice cheese

Ingredients

milk-1/2 ltr+1 cup

vinegar/lime juice

gelatine-10 gm

turmeric-2 pinch

salt-1/4 tsp

Preparation

Take milk in a pan, and just heat it (don’t over heat), then turn off stove and add vinegar to the milk, mix until the paneer separate from water, strain it to a cotton towel, squeeze out excess water from the paneer, then transfer it to a mixie jar, add a little water and grind it into fine paste, transfer the paste to a pan. Take gelatin, soak it in milk, then add to the pan, add more milk, salt and turmeric to the pan, then boil it, stir it well, once it boil well turn off flame and pour it in a plain surface, layer it with a spatula, then allow it to set well, finally cut it in square shape.

Chana Masala

Ingredients

Chana

turmeric-1/4 tsp

salt

water

coconut oil

ginger garlic crushed

green chilly-2

curry leaves

onion-1 1/2

turmeric-1/4 tsp

chilly powder-1 tsp

coriander powder-2 tbsp

garam masala-1/4 tsp

coriander powder

tomato-1

Preparation

Add soaked chana to a pressure cooker, then add turmeric, salt and water, cover the cooker then cook it for 2-3 whistle. Once the pressure is gone open the lid, then take one laddle of cooked channa and make a paste in mixie jar. Heat oil in a pan, add ginger garlic crushed, saute until it become aromatic, next add green chilly and onion, saute it again, then add curry leaves, after a mix add masalas, mix until the raw smell gone, now add cooked dal and paste along with it, mix it well, add garam masala powder and salt, boil it well, finally add some curry leaves, coriander and tomato, boil it again and turn off flame.

Potato cheese balls

Ingredients

Potatoes 2

Salt

Red chilli flakes 3/4 tsp

Ginger garlic 1/2 tsp

Pepper crushed 1/2 tsp

Corn flour 2 tsp

Maida 2 tsp

water

Cheese

Oil

Bread crumbs (Bread pieces can convert)

Preparation

Mash boiled potatoes with a fork, then transfer it to a bowl, add chilly flakesand pepper powder, knead it well with your hand, next add bread crumbs, mix well. In a bowl, add corn flour and water , make a thick paste. Take small amount of potato mix, flat it in your palm, add cheese, then cover it make a ball, coat it with bread crumbs, then dip it in corn flour mix, again coat bread crumbs, then fry it in hot oil.

Preparation

Take a bowl , add onion chopped, chopped carrot,ginger,green chilly and coriander leaves, next add schezwan sauce,oregano,and salt, mix all well, next add grated paneer, and rice flour, knead it well and make a dough, then divide this into small balls, then fry it in hot oil.

Prawn Tawa Fry

Ingredients

prawns-1/2 kg

shallots-15

ginger garlic crushed-1+1 tbsp

kashmiri chilly powder-1 1/2 tbsp

turmeric-1/4 tsp

fennel powder-1/2 tsp

pepper powder-1/2 tbsp

chilly flakes-1 tbsp

salt

Preparation

Take a bowl, add masalas, salt, curry leaves, lemon juice, oil, shallots and ginger garlic paste, mix it well and make a paste, add prawns into it, marinate well and keep aside for 1/2 hrs. Heat oil in a tawa add prawns without the masala, fry well and transfer to a bowl, next add masala, fry it well , then add fried prawns to it, add coconut pieces and curry leaves, then mix well and turn off flame.

Wheat flour breakfast

Preparation

Take wheat flour in a bowl, add salt,turmeric,chilly powder, then mix well, pour water, knead it well and make a soft dough.For filling,heat oil in a pan, add cumin, once it roast well add curry leaves,onion and salt, saute it well, next add ginger garlic paste, mix well, next add masalas, mix all well, finally add coriander leaves,then turn off flame.Take dough, flatten it by a roller, add filling, then fold it carefully, flatten it again. Prepare all snacks like this, then shallow fry it.

Egg bajji

Ingredients

Besan – 3/4 cup

Fried rice flour- 1/4 cup,

Few curry leaves,

Green chilli- 2,

Ginger garlic paste- 1 tablespoon,

Kashmiri chilli powder- 1 and 1/2 tablespoon,

Pepper powder – 1 teaspoon,

Salt to taste,

Dissolve a small piece of Asafoetida

in 2 tablespoons of water,

Baking soda – 1/4 teaspoon

Preparation

Boil egg, then cut it into two.In a bowl , add rice flour, gram flour, curry leaves,green chilly,ginger garlic paste,kashmiri chilly powder,hing,pepper powder,salt,baking soda and 3/4 cup of water, mix it together and make thick batter.Heat oil for frying, dip egg piece in batter and add to the oil, then fry it well.

Preparation

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, allow it to pop well, then add chopped garlic,dry chilly and curry leaves, saute it well, next add masalas,and salt, mix well then add tomato, mix it with masala, and cook until it become soft.

Preparation

Peel off apple and cut it to a mixie jar, add yeast and sugar, grind it into fine paste, then transfer this into a bowl, add milk into it, add salt, sunflower oil,baking soda,egg,vanilla essence and maida, mix it well and make a thick batter, keep this aside for 10 minutes. Heat oil in unniyappam pot, pour batter in each hole, fry both sides.

Preparation

Add cleaned tapioca pieces in a pan, add water and salt, then cook it well. After cooking well remove it from water. Grind coconut with shallot,chilly, turmeric and some water, then add it to the tapioca, cover the pan for heating the coconut. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, let it pop, next add dry chilly and curry leaves, roast it well then add it to kappa, mix all together.
