Steamed evening snack

Ingredients

semolina-1 1/2 cup

water-11/2 cup

ghee-1 tbsp

coconut piece-1/4 cup

coconut grated- 1 1/2 cup

jaggerry powder-1 cup

cooked green gram-1 cup

cardamom powder-1/2 tsp

Preparation

Take a mixing bowl, add semolina and water, mix it well and keep aside. Heat a pan, add ghee into it, once it heat well add coconut pieces, roast it until it become brown, then add grated coconut, mix well, next add jaggerry powder, mix it until it become melt, then add cooked green gram, combine all well, once it become dry add cardamom powder then take 2-3 tbsp from it and keep aside for filling.Next add  soaked semolina, mix all together, then turn off flame, once it cooled, take small portion from it, flatten it in your palm, add filling , then fold it like cylinder shape, then cover it with a banana leaf, finally steam it in a idli steamer.
