Ingredients

idli batter-2 cup

gram dal roasted-2 cup

chilly powder-2 tbsp

salt

cumin powder-1/2 tsp

hing powder-1/2 tsp

Preparation

Grind gram dal well and make fine powder, add this to idli batter, add salt, cumin powder, chilly powder and hing along with it, knead it well and make a soft dough, add oil for softness. Take idiyappam maker with pakkavada mould, fill the dough, heat oil for frying, press pakkavada to the oil, fry it until it become crispy.
