Beef stew

Ingredients

beef- 250 gm

pepper powder- 3/4 tbsp

garam masala-3/4 tbsp

salt

water

onion-1

potato-1

carrot-1

beans-5

green peas-1/4 cup

ginger- a small piece

green chilly

coconut milk- thick and light

coconut oil-1 tbsp

ghee-1 tsp

kismiss, cashew

curry leaves

coriander leaves

corn flour/ maida

spices

Preparation

Cook beef in a pressure cooker with pepper, garam masala, salt and water.In a pan heat oil, add spices, onion, ginger, green chilly, then saute well, next add vegetables, salt and cook for 5 minutes, next add cooked beef and light coconut milk and cook well, then add corn flour paste and allow it to boil, then add thick coconut milk, cashew, kis miss, curry leaves and coriander leaves, turn off the flame.

Broken wheat tea snack

Ingredients

broken wheat-1 cup

sugar-1/2 cup

salt-2 pinch

water-1/2 cup

ghee-2 tbsp

grated coconut-1 cup

cumin-1 tsp

kismis

cashew nuts

cardamom powder-1/4 tsp

yellow food color

Preparation

Soak broken wheat for 2 hrs, then transfer to a mixie jar, grind into smooth paste, pour this batter to a bowl, keep aside. Heat ghee in a pan add coconut, cashew and kiss miss, fry until the color become golden brown, then allow it to cool. Then add this to the batter , next add cardamom powder, and yellow food color, all mix together, then pour the batter to a cake tin, cook in a steamer for 25 minutes

Jackfruit seeds mango curry

Ingredients

Jack fruit seeds-20

dry prawn-1/2 cup

Mango-3

turmeric-1/2 tsp

chilly powder-1 tbsp

salt

mustards

curry leaves

oil

Preparation

cook the jack fruit seeds, then mash it, next add mango, and all masalas, cook again, finally add crushed dry prawn, again cook it. Season with mustards and curry leaves.

Easy neyyappam

Ingredients

ghee- 1 tbsp

coconut small pieces

jaggerry-150 gm

water-3/4 cup

rice flour-1 cup

wheat flour- 1/4 cup

semolina-1/4 cup

salt- a pinch

baking powder-1/4 tsp

water-1/2 cup

Preparation

Melt jaggerry with 3/4 cup water , then strain it. In a bowl add all flours, salt, baking powder and jaggerry , then mix well with 1/2 cup water, roasted coconut and 1 tsp of ghee. Then fry neyyappam in heated ghee.

Killi sambar

Ingredients

shallots- 15-20

onion-1/2

tomato-1

dal-1 cup( cooked)

Tamarind juice- 1 amla size

turmeric powder-1/2 tsp

sambar powder-1 tsp

dry red chilly-8-10

mustard-1/2 tsp

fenugreek-1/2 tsp

hing powder-1/4 tsp

oil- 1 1/2 tbsp

coriander leaves

salt

Preparation

Heat oil in a pan , add mustards and fenugreek , roast well, then add hing and dry red chilly, then shallots, onion, tomato, then saute well, next add all masalas, next cooked dal, next tamarind juice.Then allow it to boil. Finally add coriander leaves ans turn off the flame

Curd curry

Ingredients

Curd-1 cup

cumin-1 tsp

mustards-1 tsp

coconut oil- 2 tbsp

tomato-1

water-1 cup

salt

dry red chilly

Preparation

In mixie jar add, curd, cumin, and water and blend well. Next heat a pan , add coconut oil, mustards, curry leaves , chilly and tomato, saute well, finally add blended curd into it.

Pudding

Ingredients

Grated coconut- 2 cup

ghee- 1 tsp

milk- 1 1/2 cup

corn flour- 3 tbsp

sugar

whipping cream-2 tbsp

powdered sugar

vanilla essance

Preparation

Add coconut in a mixie jar and slightly blend it, then roast this  for a few minutes in a pan with some ghee, and set this coconut in pudding container or plate, then add milk , sugar and corn flour in pan, mix well and stir continously to become thick then pour this above the coconut, finally spread whipped cream above it. Keep in fridge for some times before serving. You can mix corn flour and whipping cream to make another type of pudding.

Ingredients

Amul fresh cream-250 ml

Condensed milk- for sweet

vanilla essance-1 tsp

fruits- as you like

Preparation

Pour fresh cream in a bowl and beat well, then add vanilla essance and condensed milk, mix well, finally add fruits and serve.
