Fish curry

Ingredients

coconut oil

mustard-1/2 tbsp

fenugreek-1/4 tsp

ginger garlic crushed

green chilly

shallots-5-6

kashmiri chilly powder-3 1/2 tbsp

turmeric-1/4 tsp

tomato paste-1

malabar tamarind-2 pieces

fish

salt

water

curry leaves

hing powder-1/4 tsp

Preparation

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard and fenugreek, let it pop, after that add ginger garlic crushed and shallots chopped, mix well and saute it for 1 minute. Take a small bowl, add masala powders and 1/4 glass of water, make a paste, and add to the pan, mix it well, once it become dry,add tomato paste, combine all, next add tamarind and water, mix all together, add salt, once it boil well add fish, curry leaves and green chilly, boil it again, finally add a pinch of hing, it helps to increase the taste, now turn off flame.

Mustard Using tips

Mustard seeds are used as a spice in the Indian subcontinent. The seeds are usually fried until they pop. They are rich in a range of vitamins and minerals. It contains Vitamin A, C and minerals like calcium, iron, phosphorus magnesium and potassium. It also has anti inflammatory properties.

The flavour and smell of mustard helps to keep away mosquitoes and cockroaches from home, for that use mustard powder, smoke it with ajjwain helps to protect you from mosquitoes and cockroaches. You can use mustard oil too.

Scrub your face with mustard seeds helps to remove dead skin cells and blackheads, if it use with aloe-vera, the result will be amazing.

Mix mustard powder with fenugreek and coconut oil, then apply your hair, which is helpful for your hair growth.

Mustard can protect your teeth too, for that use mustard oil and salt to brush your teeth.

Wheat Paalappam

Ingredients

wheat flour-2 cup

coconut-1 cup

cooked rice-1 cup

salt

yeast-1/4 tsp

water-2 cup

for egg curry

onion-2

garlic-6

tomato-1

ginger

green chilly

coconut oil

kashmiri chilly powder-1 tsp

turmeric

garam masala

coriander powder

water

salt

boiled egg

Preparation

For appam, take a mixing bowl, add wheat flour, cooker rice, and coconut, add water and mix well, then add salt and yeast, after mixing well transfer it to a mixie jar, then grind it well, pour the batter to another bowl, then keep in cooker for 15 minutes, the batter will fermented well, now make soft appam.

For egg curry, heat oil in a pressure cooker, add ginger garlic crushed, then add onion and green chilly, add salt and saute it well, then add tomato, mix all well, once it become soft add masala powders, combine all, then pour water, after covering the cooker, cook it for 1 whistle, wait until the pressure gone, then add boiled egg, then serve it with appam.

Special Bonda

Ingredients

maida-1 cup

rice flour-2 tbsp

turmeric-2 pinch

cardamom powder

sugar-2 tsp

oil for frying

Preparation

Heat ghee in a pan, add banana pieces, saute it well, next add sugar, coconut, cashew and kismis, mix all well, once the sugar melts completely, turn off flame. Take maida in a bowl, add rice flour, salt, sugar, cardamom,cumin,baking soda and turmeric, pour water into it, mix well and make thick batter, Take bread slices, dip it in water, then squeeze out a little, add banana filling, then fold it like a ball, after doing this, dip it in the batter then fry in hot oil.

Healthy Mayonnaise

Preparation

Soak cashew nuts for 2 hour, then transfer it to a mixie jar, add garlic and pepper, then grind it for a minute, add water, salt and lime juice, blend it until it become creamy, mayonnaise is ready.

Masala Tea

Preparation

Take water in tea pot, then put it in stove top, add spices, once it heat well, pour milk into it, next add tea powder, then boil it for 5 minutes in medium flame, then turn off flame and strain the tea to a cup, add required sweet, then mix it with another cup, then serve it.

Ingredients

sunflower oil-2 tbsp

cooked potato mashed-3

fennel powder-1 pinch

pepper powder-/2 tsp

chicken masala-1 tsp

garam masala-1/2 tsp

boiled egg grated-3

coriander leaves

bread crumbs

corn flour-2 tbsp

water

oil for frying

Preparation

Heat oil in a pan, add onion and green chilly, saute it well, next add curry leaves, ginger garlic paste and salt, saute until the raw smell gone, next add tomato, mix it well, then add masala powders one bye one, combine all well, next add grated egg, mix it with masala, then add mashed potato, mix it again, once it become thick add coriander leaves and turn off flame. Take bread crumbs in a plate, mix corn flour and water. Take a big ball of masala in your hand, before that apply oil in your palms, make cutlet shape, then dip it in corn flour mix and coat bread crumbs, once the process is finished fry all in hot oil.

Green gram payasam

Ingredients

green gram-1/2 cup

coconut milk thick-1 cup

second extract of coconut milk-2 cup

jaggerry-3/4 cup

cumin-1/2 tsp

cardamom powder-1 tsp

dry ginger powder-1/4 tsp

ghee-1 tbsp

coconut pieces-1 tbsp

cashew-1 tbsp

raisins-1 tbsp

salt-1 pinch

Preparation

Soak green gram overnight or 8 hrs, then wash it well and add it to a cooker, pour water into it, after closing the lid cook it for 1 whistle. Once the pressure is gone open it and boil it again, add grated jaggerry, boil until it melts completely, next add second coconut milk, after boiling it well add thick coconut milk, next add cumin powder, ginger powder and cardamom powder, then heat it well and turn off flame. Heat ghee in a pan, add coconut pieces, roast until it turns brown, then add cashews and raisins, roast it and pour it to the payasam, add a pinch of salt too, mix it well then serve it.

Vegetable stew without coconut

Ingredients

Preparation

Heat oil in a pan, add finely chopped ginger and garlic into it, after sauting it for a minute add onion, curry leaves and green chilly, mix it , then saute until it become soft, now add vegetables, masala powders and salt, after a mix cover the pan and cook it for 15 minutes, next add cashew and kaskas paste , add some water, combine all well, let it boil , once it become thick, turn off flame.

Ingredients

chicken( cooked with turmeric, salt and pepper powder) crushed

coriander leaves

for dough

maida-2 cup

salt

sunflower oil-2 tbsp

lukewarm water

oil for frying

Preparation

For making masala, heat oil in a pan, add onion and salt, saute it well, next add green chilly, ginger and garlic crushed, saute it again, next add masala powders, mix until it turns aromatic, now add chicken crushed, mix with masala, then add chopped vegetables, combine all well, finally add coriander and curry leaves, then turn off flame.

For dough, take maida in a mixing bowl, add salt and sunflower oil, after mixing well , add lukewarm water , then knead it well and make a soft dough, keep this aside for 10 minutes. Then take the dough and flatten it into thin layer, then cut it with a bottle cap and make small poories,take one in your hand, add the filling, then cover it with anther poori, fold the edges with your finger, prepare all poories like this, finally fry it in hot oil.
