Dal Payasam

Ingredients

green gram dal-1/2 kg

jaggerry-1 kg

thin coconut milk of 2 coconut

thick coconut milk of 2 coconut

cardamom powder

salt-1/4 tsp

ghee-2 tbsp

cashews and kismis

Preparation

Heat a pressure cooker, add dal, roast it until the color become slightly brown, then wash it well. Then cook it with second extract of coconut milk, then add melted jaggerry to the cooked dal, boil it well, then add cardamom powder, and salt, boil it again for 5 minutes, finally add thick coconut milk and fried cashews and kismis.

Wheat Flour Cake

Ingredients

jaggerry-3

wheat flour-1 cup

salt

baking soda-1 tsp

vanilla essence

coconut-1/2

oil-4 tsp

cashews

Preparation

Add wheat flour to a bowl, then add salt,baking soda, coconut,oil, vanila essence and coconut, mix well, then add jaggerry juice, mix well and make a thick batter. Pour the batter to mould, then bake it well.

Poha, Banana snack

Ingredients

banana-23

Poha-1 cup

jaggerry-3/4 cup

water-1/4 cup

coconut-2-3 tbsp

ghee-2-3 tbsp

cardamom-1/2 tsp

cashews,kismis and almonds

Preparation

Melt jaggerry with water and keep aside. Dry roast poha, then grind it into fine powder. Heat ghee in a pan, add cashews and kismis, then roast it well, set this aside, add chopped banana to the pan, saute well, next add coconut, combine both well, add a little jaggerry juice, mix it until it become thick, again add jaggerry juice and powdered poha, combine all until it become thick and non sticky, then turn off flame. Take a plate, apply ghee add poha miz, press tightly with a spoon, add nuts above the mix, then rest it for 1-2 hrs, then cut it.

Prawns Thoran

Ingredients

prawns-300 gm

coconut oil-3 tsp

curry leaves

shallots-10-15

chilly flakes-1 1/2 tsp

turmeric-1/4 tsp

kashmiri chilly powder-2 tsp

pepper powder-1/4 tsp

fennel powder-1/2 tsp

coconut-1/2 cup

Preparation

Heat oil in a pan, add curry leaves and shallots, then add chilly flakes, saute it well, next add masala powders and coconut, mix everything well, now add prawns, add salt and mix well, cook it by covering the pan, once the prawns cooked enough add curry leaves and turn off flame.

Rice Putt

ingredients

raw rice-2 1/2 cups

grated coconut

Preparation

Wash rice throughly in water. Heat a pan, add rice , roast it until it become crispy, then grind it into fine powder. Take this flour in a bowl, add salt and water, mix well and make a perfect putt dust. Now you can make soft putt with this flour with coconut.

Wheat Ada

Ingredients

wheat-2 cup

coconut-1

jaggerry-5

sugar powder-2 tbsp

cardamom powder-1/2 tbsp

cumin powder-1/2 tbsp

ghee-1 1/2 tbsp

water

Preparation

Melt jaggerry with water, then strain it to another pan, then boil it until it become one string consistency, then add coconut, cardamom powder, cumin powder and ghee, mix well, then turn off flame. Take a bowl, add salt and sugar, mix everything well, then pour water, knead it well and make a sticky dough. Take banana leaf, add the dough a little, spread it over the leaf in a thin layer, add coconut filling one side, then fold the leaf. After that steam it well.

Semiya Payasam

Ingredients

ghee- 1 1/2 tsp

semiya-2 cup

milk- 1 1/2 cup

water-2 cup

sugar

ghee

kismis

sago-1/2 cup

vanila essence

condensed milk-1 cup

cardamom powder

Preparation

Heat ghee in a pan, add vermicelli, roast it until it become golden brown, then transfer it to a pressur cooker, add milk, water, and sugar into it, then close the cooker and cook it for 1 whistle, add cooked sago, vanila essence, condensed milk and cardamom powder to the cooked vermicelli, boil it well and finally add roasted kismis and turn off flame.

Recipe 1

Manglore Buns

Blend sugar, banana and cardamom together, then add wheat flour and salt, mix all together and make a thick batter, add a tsp of ghee, combine well. Heat oil in a pan, add small portions from the batter and fry it well.

Banana bread balls

Crush banana in a bowl, add finely chopped onion, green chilly , curry leaves and ginger, add bread pieces, mix tightly with your hand, then make small balls from it, now fry it well.

Recipe 3

Banana, wheat snack

Heat oil in a pan, add crushed nuts and raisins, roast it for a minute, then add banana pieces, saute it well, add sugar and coconut, mix all well, add wheat flour into it, knead it well and make small balls, coat it in bread crumbs and fry it well.

Take burger buns, put holes in square shape above the bun. Add chopped vegetables, salt, pepper powder, chilly flakes, oregano and mayonnaide in to a bowl, mix all well, then fill it in the buns, add cheese above each bun. Heat a pan, add butter, then spread it over the pan, add buns, then close the lid, cook it in low flame.
