Take 3 boiled banana in a bowl, mash it well , then add rice flour, salt, ghee and cardamom powder, knead it well and make a soft dough. Heat a pan, add ghee , once it melts add coconut, mix it well, next add jaggerry powder, mix until it melts completely, next add cardamom powder, combine all well, then turn off flame. Take a plate, put banana leaf, then take a handful of dough, then apply it above the leaf in a thin layer, then add filling, spread over, then cover it with the dough, once it done, steam it well.

Angamaly Mango Curry

We prepare many kinds of curries using green mangoes, but the special green mango curry of Angamali is special. This curry is prepared with green mangoes and coconut milk. It is a good combination for rice. Let’s see how to prepare it.

Ingredients:
Onion – 2 Medium (Thinly sliced)
Raw mango – 2 Medium (Peeled and sliced)
Ginger – 1 tbsp (chopped)
Green chilli – 5 -8 (slit open)
Shallots / Small onions – 1 handful
Turmeric powder – 1tsp
Coriander powder – 1½ tsp
Red chilli powder – 1tsp
Coconut oil – 2 tbsp
Thin coconut milk – 1 cup
Thick coconut milk – 1 cup (Milk of 1 coconut)
Curry leaves
Salt as required

For tempering:
Coconut Oil
Mustard seed
Shallots
Dried Red Chillies
Curry leaves

Steps: Mix onion, shallots, green chilli, ginger, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, Curry leaves, salt, and coconut oil in a clay pot with little pressure for 5 minutes. Mix again with thin coconut milk. Turn on the stove and add the mango slices. After the curry boils, stir and cook for another 10 minutes. Switch off after adding thick coconut milk. For tempering, heat oil in a pan. Dry red chillies, shallots, and curry leaves are added next. Combine well. The taste is better after it has rested for a while. With hot rice, enjoy the mango curry

Ragi Banana Smoothie

A super healthy breakfast Recipe with ragi

Ragi – 2 tbsp
water – 2 cups
Dates – 4 or 5
banana – 1
milk – 1/2 cup
almonds – 12
nuts flakes – to garnish
sabja seeds – to garnish

soak almonds and peel the skin .
soak sabja seeds…
take 2 cups of water in a sauce pan
take 2 tbsp ragi in a bowl and pour some water from the sauce pan to ragi flour (almost 1/2 cup)..
mix well without any lumps…
Boil the remaining water…
once the water start boiling reduce the flame and pour ragi mix…
cook for 5 minutes in medium flame with contineous stirring….
cook for 5 minutes and add dates…
cook for another 3 minutes…
switch off the stove and allow it to cool …
once it get back to normal transfer to a mixie jar …
add almond and blend ..
now add banana and blend ..
add milk and salt… blend again in pulse mode ..
now the smoothie is ready ..
pour the smoothie to a serving glass and garnish with soaked sabja seeds, nut flakes and honey ..
this serves 2….
serve as such or chilled…

Take the prepared dough and knead it well again and then make it into small balls. Now take each one and flatten it nicely and put the masala in the middle. Put a slice of cheese on top of this and fold it inward from both sides. Now roll and fold it from the bottom. Vanilla essence- 1tsp
Salt- ¼ tsp

Preparation

• Caramelize one and a half cups of sugar in a thick pan, add unsalted butter, add dry fruits and cook for 5 minutes. Add chopped orange peel, orange marmalade and baking soda to it and turn off the flame when it boils.

• Then keep it aside to warm
Add 3 well-beaten eggs to this hot mixture and add nuts.

• Put flour maida, baking powder, nutmeg powder, nutmeg powder, papaya powder and salt in a sieve and mix well. Add this to the pre-mixed fruitscoot and mix well.

• Pour this mixture into a greased cake tin lined with butter paper and cook on low flame for an hour.

1/2 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Hot water
Nuts:

1.5 cups Black Raisins
1/2 cup Cashews
Sugar Spice:

1/2 cup Sugar
2-inch Cinnamon stick
4 Cardamom pods
4 Cloves
For Eggless Christmas Cake Batter:
1/2 cup Curd (Yogurt)
1/2 cup Oil
1.5 cups Maida (All-purpose flour)
1 tsp Baking powder
1/2 tsp Baking soda
Pinch of Salt
Baking Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare a baking pan by greasing and lining it with parchment paper.
Steps:

Caramelizing Sugar:

In a pan, heat 1/2 cup of sugar on medium heat until it melts and turns into a caramel.
Gradually add 1/4 cup of hot water to the melted sugar, stirring continuously until the caramel dissolves into the water. Set aside to cool.
Prepare Nuts:Coarsely chop 1.5 cups of black raisins and 1/2 cup of cashews. Set them aside.
Sugar Spice Mix:

In a grinder or mortar and pestle, grind together 1/2 cup of sugar, 2-inch cinnamon stick, 4 cardamom pods, and 4 cloves to make a fine sugar spice mix.
Eggless Christmas Cake Batter:

In a mixing bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup of curd and 1/2 cup of oil until well combined.
Sift in 1.5 cups of maida (all-purpose flour), 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda, and a pinch of salt into the bowl.
Add the sugar spice mix (step 3) and the caramelized sugar (step 1) to the bowl.
