coconut oil

mustard-1/2 tbsp

fenugreek-1/4 tsp

ginger garlic crushed

green chilly


kashmiri chilly powder-3 1/2 tbsp

turmeric-1/4 tsp

tomato paste-1

malabar tamarind-2 pieces




curry leaves

hing powder-1/4 tsp


Heat oil in a pan, add mustard and fenugreek, let it pop, after that add ginger garlic crushed and shallots chopped, mix well and saute it for 1 minute. Take a small bowl, add masala powders and 1/4 glass of water, make a paste, and add to the pan, mix it well, once it become dry,add tomato paste, combine all, next add tamarind and water, mix all together, add salt, once it boil well add fish, curry leaves and green chilly, boil it again, finally add a pinch of hing, it helps to increase the taste, now turn off flame.
