Bombai Karachi Halwa


• Corn flour – 1 cup

• Sugar – 2 cup

• Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon

• Ghee – 3 tablespoon

• Cardamom powder – 1 teaspoon

• Water – 4 cup

• Orange food colour – ¼ teaspoon

• Chopped nuts

• Salt


Grease halwa tin and keep aside. Mix corn flour and water keep aside. Melt sugar in a pan, add lemon juice and salt, mix well, then add corn flour mix and stir well, add ghee frequently, cook until it become thick and non sticky, add cardamom, and nuts, after mixing well, pour it into the tin, set and allow it to cool.
