Sugar 3/4 cup

Hot water 1/2 cup

Dry fruits as per your choice(added raisins, dates, cherry, tuty fruity

Orange zest 1 teaspoon

Flour 1 1/2 cup(250ml cup)

Baking powder 1 1/2 tsp

Nutmeg powder 1/4 teaspoon

Ginger powder 1/4 teaspoon

Cinnamon powder 1/4 teaspoon

Cloves powder 1/4 teaspoon

Egg 3

Powdered sugar 1/2 cup

Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon

Butter 1/4 cup

Oil 1/4 cup

Preparation

For caramalise sugar, Add sugar to a pan, wait until it starts melting, then mix with a spoon, once it completely melts and color become dark brown, add hot water, combine well, then turn off flame. Divide it into two parts, add dry fruits to one part, mix well and keep aside. Put a strainer above a bowl, add maida, masala powders, baking powder and salt, sieve it to the bowl, add a spoon of flour to the fruit mix, combine all. Beat egg well, add powdered sugar and beat until it become stiff and foamy, then add caramel syrup, butter and oil, beat it again, add vanila essence too, then add flour in 2 batches, combine well, add fruit mix , after mix all together pour the mix to a cake mould,tap it well, add more dry fruits, then bake it for 45-1 hr.
